Classroom Policies

Regular attendance is the most important factor in the progress of the individual student and the class as a whole. Classes will begin promptly and students entering the class late will not only disturb the class but will miss an important part of the lesson. Please be on time!

· Dancers should bring all necessary dance attire to each class, such as leotards, tights, shoes, etc. All students should wear a cover-up (skirt, pants, or shorts) when entering and leaving the studio!

· Please put your child's name on all clothing, shoes, bags, and other personal items.

· Dancers should wear their hair in a bun (or pulled back away from their face if hair is too short for a bun) to every class.

· No food, drinks, chewing gum, cough drops, candy, etc. will be allowed in class as there is a danger of choking.

· Any student whose behavior is disruptive to the class, will be asked to sit down. Parents can be assured that any problems will be discussed immediately and privately with both the student and parents. Parents are welcome to direct their concerns to the child's teacher.

· Parents, relatives, and friends are always welcome to observe classes as long as you first ask the teacher of it will be convenient and if care is given not to disrupt the class.
